Pet Behaviour Problems?
The Pet Behaviour Centre is a referral centre for the treatment of behavioural problems in dogs and cats. Owners of pets whose behaviour is causing concern, can ask their vet to refer them to their nearest clinic. Consultations are held on a one-to-one basis, normally lasting 1½ to 2hrs and involve the practitioner, the pet and the pet’s family. The programme advised may produce results very quickly, but often it will take time, effort and a commitment by all the family to work at it, to produce the improved behaviour. Problems include all forms of aggression, separation problems, destructiveness, self mutilation, vocal behaviour, toileting problems, marking, spraying, car travel, nervousness and more.
The Pet Behaviour Centre is based in the UK, with its main office in Defford, Worcestershire. Regional monthly clinics are held throughout the Midlands attended by the principal of the practice, David Appleby MSc CCAB.
The Mail Order Department is also based in Defford, and supplies behaviour booklets, books and other related items to the UK and across the world. On this site you will find details of the publications available, interesting articles and also details of talks and courses available.
