Laura Moulds BSc (Hons) Dip (AS) CABC

Laura holds a bachelors degree in Social Psychology and an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling awarded from the University of Southampton.

 

Laura is currently a full member of the prestigious Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and a board member of the equally esteemed UK Registry of Canine Behaviourists (UKRCB). Full membership is achieved through a rigorous selection procedure including submission of case reports and practical assessment in addition to having to have gained over 600 hours practical experince.  Laura is also a member of the Companion Animal Behaviour Therapy Study Group and regularly attends lectures and conferences that keeps her up to date with the latest research and changes within the profession.

 

Laura has been working with dogs and cats and other animals for 15 years including several years at the world famous Waltham Centre for Pet Nutrition and also in a number of rescue kennels and riding establishments.  Since 2004 Laura has run a successful pet behaviour counselling service via veterinary referral from practices covering Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, South Lincolnshire and Rutland.


In May 2011 Laura became a proud associate of the Pet Behaviour Centre and will continue to offer her behavioural expertise in her area.


In addition to being a pet behaviour counsellor Laura is also a busy mum to her two children. She also owns  five cats and two dogs. When she has a few minutes to spare Laura enjoys competing with her dogs in agility.  Laura's Border Collie Merlin is also two times GB Frisbee champion!
