Cat Behaviour Problems
As with all behavioural problems, you should seek veterinary advice before contacting a behaviourist about your cat's behaviour problems. Many forms of feline behaviour problem are actually related to physical disorders. Once treated, many of these will disappear or at least be reduced, allowing behaviour modification to be successful.
Common Feline Problems

Excessive marking behaviours including scenting and scratching
Aggression towards owners
Aggression within multi-cat households
Fearful behaviour towards people or other pets
Introducing another pet to home
Compulsive behaviours such as over-grooming or licking and chewing wool, pica
Owners of multi-cat households may be better advised to arrange a home visit consultation as this will allow all the cats to be observed interacting and the environment more closely examined. If you would prefer a clinic consultation, you may be required to aquire video footage of your cats, and/or to prepare a houseplan showing the locations of resources and where the problem behaviour occurs.
Call the Pet Behaviour Centre to arrange an appointment.
