Leave the M1 at Junction 15 (Not 15a or 16). Travel towards Northampton on the A508. Continue past the first signs for Northampton Town Centre on your left, (opposite is the Queen Eleanor Hotel), for a further mile or so. Take the second sign for Northampton Town Centre - just before the road you are travelling on goes up onto an elevated flyover section. This slip road brings you down onto a large roundabout. Take the SECOND left, which is signposted Abington and County Cricket Ground. This is Rushmere Road. Do not go into the town centre.* Continue along Rushmere Road, straight on after the first set of traffic lights until you are driving through Abington Park. Take the slip road to the left, just before the next set of major traffic lights, which is signposted Town Centre. You should now be on the Wellingborough Road heading into the town centre. **The Veterinary Surgery is 100 yards further, on the right hand side of the road. Take the first right hand turn which brings you into Wantage Road, the surgery is situated on the junction of Wellingborough Road and Wantage Road.
From Bedford: Travel on the A428 until large roundabout under the flyover. Take the THIRD left, signposted Abington and County Cricket Ground. This is Rushmere Road. Follow directions from above*
From the North-East side of town (e.g. Market Harborough): Follow the signs
for the A45, Wellingborough and the Town Centre. This will bring you around
the east side of Northampton past the County Cricket Ground. After passing
the cricket ground on the right hand side of Abington Avenue, you will come
to a large set of traffic lights/roundabout. Take the FOURTH exit (signposted
Town Centre) and drive towards the Town Centre for 100 yards. This is the
Wellingborough Road. The Veterinary Surgery is on the right hand side as
above**
